CVIC: connected equipment experience.

Documented examples across pelletizing discs, roller screening and conveying, with clear equipment-scope boundaries.

CVIC’s equipment portfolio connects balling, green-pellet classification and conveying. For an owner or EPC team, the relevant discussion is how each item fits the material duty, transfer arrangement and maintenance plan. The following examples describe supplier-documented scope; they do not imply supply of the entire pellet plant.

HBIS Laoting: screening and distribution scope

CVIC’s project sheet and March 2026 partial reference lists identify 20 undersize roller screens and two roller feeders for the Laoting project, alongside two wide-belt and two reciprocating conveyors. The records associate this equipment scope with the 2018 project for two nominal 4.8 Mt/year lines.

This example illustrates experience across screening and distribution interfaces. The plant’s nominal line capacity is context, not a measured capacity guarantee for each machine. These documents do not establish a quantified energy reduction or a controlled before-and-after production gain.

Evidence: CVIC Projects | HBIS Laoting Project, p. 1; Partial Reference List of Roller Screen Systems, March 2026, PDF p. 27; Partial Reference List of Conveyor Systems, March 2026, PDF p. 32. Supplier-provided documents.

Neyriz Ghadir: balling, screening and conveying

CVIC’s 2022 reference entry for Neyriz Ghadir in Iran lists five 7.5 m pelletizing discs, each with a stated 200 kW drive. The accompanying screening list identifies one double-deck screen, five single-deck screens and one HPGR-duty screen. The conveyor list records wide-belt and reciprocating equipment for the same project.

The combined scope is useful evidence of experience across connected equipment packages. Disc diameter and installed motor power do not by themselves define accepted-product output. A new duty still needs ore testwork, the circuit mass balance and an agreed product specification.

Evidence: CVIC Partial Reference Lists, March 2026: Pelletizing Disc PDF p. 6; Roller Screen Systems PDF p. 15; Conveyor Systems PDF p. 17. Supplier-provided documents; current operating status and acceptance results are not independently verified here.

Where CVIC can enter the engineering discussion

ApplicationBring to the reviewScope to clarify
Roller screens and replacement rollsFeed and outlet size distributions, flow, moisture, roll condition and access envelopeDeck and drive arrangement, roll surface, replacement procedure and acceptance boundary.
Pelletizing discsRepresentative concentrate, binder recipe, expected recycle and target green productDisc geometry, drives, controls, scraper arrangement and the basis of rated capacity.
Distribution and return conveyorsFlowsheet, elevations, material trajectory, widthwise loading and peak flowsTransfers, reciprocating or moving-head arrangement where applicable, controls and responsibility at each handover.

For a retrofit, include verified site dimensions and shutdown constraints. For a new line, identify who owns the interfaces between the equipment package and the overall process guarantee. The purpose of the review is a duty-specific proposal, not an assumption that a past installation is interchangeable with a new one.
